A retreat, as its name implies, is an opportunity to step aside from the pressures and stress of our lives and commitments, to reflect, be still and rest in God's presence. It's more a question of advancing than retreating! If you've never been on a retreat, do think about coming. It could be a life-transforming experience for you.

This year the Parish Retreat will be held at St Francis House, Hemingford Grey, a picturesque village near Huntingdon, set on the banks of the River Ouse, with delightful walks across the water meadows to St Ives. It will run from Friday evening, 29 September, until after lunch on Sunday 1 October and be led by Linda Dean. The cost will be £80 plus travel. Contact the Parish Office to book a place.
