The St Mary's choir is rather depleted at the moment and we are looking to recruit some more singers.Sadly we were unable to field a choir for Christmas Day this year for the first time ever.
The choir sings at the Parish Eucharist each Sunday at 10.30am, meeting to rehearse at 9.15am, and also at Choral Evensong (once per month) and on special services and occasions throughout the year. There is no mid week choir practice so singers need to be fairly good sight readers, but this is definitely something that gets better with practice! The music is always planned well in advance and can be taken away to practise if necessary.

St Mary’s is known for the high standard of its music and we cover a wide range of music, from plainsong to contemporary. Singing in the choir is great fun and never boring!
